Extended Family Photos at Lake Louisa State Park

The holidays typically bring people together, especially families who live in different parts of the country. This means that the holidays are also a great time to get extended family photos at Lake Louisa State Park. Think about it, when is ALL your family together? Usually only for holidays and weddings. In the grand scheme of things, those dates are few and far between.

When Danielle reached out and said her family would all be together for Thanksgiving, and wanted family photos, I was so excited! I was even more excited when they told me they wanted to get their extended family photos taken at Lake Louisa State Park. It’s an absolutely gorgeous location for all kinds of sessions and one of my favorites! With Danielle being a photographer as well, she knew the importance of family photos. She also knew how to give the best advice for coordinating outfits.

Their family session was so great and the kids were so playful. I loved capturing each individual family and their parents. Of course we always get photos of the grandparents too, since they are the ons that started it all. I just imagine 20 years from now these photos will be ones their grandkids will look at and remember memories from their childhood.
