Sweet Little Ari was turning 1 and his mom was in love with the idea of having a Peter Rabbit Themed 1st birthday party. When she told me they were flying in from California to celebrate with family back home in Indiana, I knew this was something super special and I couldn’t wait to meet them! Since the party was going to take place on their parents gorgeous property, we also planned to get some great family portraits as well.

Ari’s story is a special one. When he was only 8 months old he underwent heart surgery due to a heart defect they found when he was only 20 weeks. But I’m happy to pass along that his surgery went amazing and he’s been happy and healthy ever since!

The Peter Rabbit themed party was complete with adorable little invitations, stickers fr the cups, soft blue and white colors and yummy treats! Strawberries, “radishes”, “Carrots”, and bundt cakes! ***One of the COOLEST things about this whole day was that Ari has a scar in the middle of his chest due to his surgery. When I was processing the images I thought it was really cool that his mom had told the bakery to make a scar in the fondant bunnies chest too. When I delivered the images and told her they had both said they never told them and that it was just a coincidence!!! How crazy is that!? 🙂
