Holy Trinity Reception Center Wedding

Megan & Costas Holy Trinity Reception Center Wedding was beyond beautiful in every way! They were such a fun and bubbly couple, and their wedding venue was stunning! For this wedding, I was one of 3 professional photographers there since they had a large wedding and wanted every moment captured. While I missed out on the getting ready portion of the day, I was there for their beautiful ceremony, portraits, and reception!

The Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Maitland, FL is breathtaking inside! I’m always in awe when photographing inside these churches. The architecture and paintings are stunning in every way. Megan & Costass ceremony was just as beautiful as the church. They had a traditional ceremony and I loved seeing the crowning ceremony again. I love photographing such beautiful traditions!

A Reception Full of Surprises

Their wedding reception was an absolute blast and full of surprises! After Megan and Costas shared the most beautiful first dance, the party really got started! One tradition they did was a Greek Money Dance! Basically, everyone dances and showers the newlyweds with money! Everyone is throwing money in the air, all around and at the couple. It’s so much fun and creates the coolest photos! If that wasn’t cool enough, Megan took it a bit farther! Since Megan and Costas both went to UCF (University of Central Florida), she surprised Costas with having the UCF mascot, Knightro, crash the wedding! How awesome, right!? He danced with everyone and Costas was so surprised!

To end the evening, they had Kelly’s Ice Cream truck parked outside for all the guests and themselves to enjoy! I 100% recommend getting an ice cream truck for your wedding, and specifically Kelly’s! They were so amazing and the ice cream was delicious! As if they couldn’t be any cooler, Megan and Costas left their reception in a stunning black Mercury Montclair Convertible!
