This Honeymoon Island Engagement Session was absolutely wonderful! Kaytlin, Austin and their two pups (Ripley & Blue) were the absolute best to work with! While Honeymoon Island is still recovering from last year’s hurricanes, the pet beach was in great shape and a great location for their session! While you don’t see it in the photos, there were quite a few people (thanks Photoshop!). However, Kaytlin and Austin were amazing at posing and forgetting there were people around.

We decided on a Honeymoon Island Engagement session because Kaytlin & Austin will be getting married on a cruise next year. They wanted a beach theme for their engagement photos, but also wanted to include their dogs. Unfortunately, they won’t be able to take them on the cruise with them. Honeymoon Island was the perfect place to include the dogs and to also get gorgeous engagement photos. Needless to say, it was the perfect location and they got the best of both worlds!

Their Honeymoon Island Engagement session was also the dogs first trip to the beach! I was so thrilled to capture a few candids of them exploring the beach to remember their first time. They were the best little dogs too! I don’t think they ever barked once and were so well-behaved. Kaytlin and Austin even had their own cart to pull them along with. It was a blessing since it not only held their stuff, but also acted as a tether for the dogs.

All-in-all, their Honeymoon Island Engagement Session was a success and so much fun!
