I'm Katie!
I'm so excited you're here and are considering me to document your love story and wedding day! It's always such an honor to be a part of this special season in your lives!
Over the past 6 years and photographing over 100 weddings, I have only fallen more in love with my job. I love getting to know my couples, giving them an amazing experience, and enjoy creating beautiful photos that represent them and their unique love story.

From your engagement session to long after your wedding day, I'm always excited to root for your marriage and give you encouragement. Most of my couples turn into lifelong friends and I continue to photograph them in their new seasons of life.

Step one
I don’t believe that wedding photography is one-size-fits-all! I love to serving joyful and genuine couples who are excited to marry their best friend. My couples not only want gorgeous pictures, but an incredible EXPERIENCE as well. The first step towards working with me is determining if we are the perfect fit! After getting to know you online, we’ll determine if we’re a great match! If we are, I'll send you a custom online booking proposal where you can review your package and pay your deposit to make everything officially official!

After you book, we’ll schedule your engagement session. Don’t worry... I’ll teach you EVERYTHING! I am an expert at helping couples get comfortable in front of the camera! After the first 20 minutes of your session, you will be pros. I’ve NEVER had a couple not feel at ease! Even if you think you’re not photogenic or if your fiancé “hates having pictures taken”, you will be killing it after 20 minutes have gone by! That’s all the time we need to get rid of nerves and start capturing the joy of this new season of your life together! After your engagement session you’ll be featured on the KOP Blog and will also be sent your online gallery of images to download and share however you wish.

Once we’re 8 weeks out from your big day, we’ll start making sure that we’re completely prepared and ready for your wedding! I love creating custom timelines for my couples to ensure that you don’t miss out on your dream wedding photos! You know all of those dreamy portraits, fun friend shots, and detail images that look like they are straight out of a magazine??? I work with my Couples to plan their day so that they can actually have images like that of their OWN! After 5+ years of photographing weddings, I know how to create the perfect timeline for a photography-friendly wedding day!

Step four
It’s here! It’s time to celebrate, relax and let us get to work! We believe in telling the full story of our couples' wedding days and so we never shoot less than 8 hours. This day is going to be a blur to you and so we make it a priority to capture the traditional shots that every bride needs while also capturing the moments in between in a creative & unique way. One of our favorite parts of the wedding day is our portrait time with the newlyweds and getting to meet our couple’s families and best friends!! After the wedding day, you’ll be featured on the KJ Blog the following TUESDAY! We like to share our weddings while everyone is still on cloud nine from the big day instead of keeping our couples waiting!

Step five
After your wedding day is over, you will receive an online gallery full of all of your wedding memories! HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of them! We encourage our KJ Couples to sit down with a glass of wine the night that their gallery goes live and enjoy reliving their wedding day through their images! Soon after your gallery is delivered, you will receive your album design (if you ordered an album!) and you can begin the customization process!

Destination weddings inside the USA are all inclusive and include two photographers, timeline planning, and all edited images in an online gallery. For destinations outside the USA, I would love to create a custom quote for you.

Elopements are classified as weddings with less than 20 guests.

Your wedding photos are one of the most important parts of your big day. Not only will you receive beautiful portraits of the two of you together, but you'll also have the sentimental details and candid moments you never want to forget. When your day has flown by, the food is gone and your friends and family return home, your memories live on through your photos.

The sooner the better! Most couples book their must have vendors 8 months -1.5 years out to ensure they're available for their date.
First, you will fill out the contact form HERE. I'll reach out to you within the next 24 hours with full pricing information. Once you're ready to move forward we will schedule a quick zoom meeting to virtually meet and for you to ask me any questions you may have. Then we will get you booked!
To secure your date, a signed contract and a retainer fee of 1/3 your package total is required. For most weddings, the retainer is $1200.
Most full (8-hour) wedding day galleries include 900-1200 edited images. There is no minimum or maximum amount as every wedding is unique and different.
Yes! Through your online gallery, you will be able to order quality prints straight to your door from my trusted lab. Your friends and family can also do this if you give them your gallery link!
Yes! Wedding albums are incredibly special to me and I love creating them for my couples. Once you receive your gallery, I will have you choose your favorite images and then create a beautiful album design for you to approve. I offer many options for your wedding album. I will post a sneak peak of wedding photos 2-3 days after your wedding. Your full online gallery will be delivered roughly 4 weeks after your wedding day!
