What an honor it’s been to photograph this lovely couple for the third time now! Ali and Corey are sweet, kind, reserved but so playful, so I knew we would have a great session! France Park was the perfect spot for their Logansport Fall engagement session!
Ali & Corey met in 2016 at a 4th of July party and quickly hit it off. Together they love hanging out with family and friends, watching sports, and going out for dinner and drinks. Together they have the sweetest family of 2 children, one girl and one boy. Their proposal story is the sweetest too! Check it out below!
This past August, Ali and Corey went on their first vacation together to Destin, Florida. While they were there, they decided to go to one of their favorite restaurants, Pompano Joe’s for dinner and drinks. When they arrived there was a live band playing and while Ali was getting drinks, Corey went up to the stage and spoke to the man playing. When he returned to the table he had told Ali he had simply requested a song.
After a few songs Ali decided she was going to request her own song so she headed toward the stage as well. Before Ali got to the stage, their song, “Cross my Heart” by George Strait, started to play and it stopped her in her tracks. Corey grabbed the mic and in front of a crowd of people started to tell Ali how much he loved her. He told her how he couldn’t imagine life without her, dropped down on one knee and asked her to marry him.
Ali of course said yes! They finished their song by dancing on the stage as the crowd was clapping, cheering and taking pictures of them. Afterwards, they even met a couple from Alabama that bought them appetizers and drinks to celebrate their engagement!
Wedding planning mode is now in effect and they have their date set for September 2020! A simple and beautiful Fall wedding with the gorgeous colors of dusty blue and burgundy. I’m so excited to be working with their wedding planner, Jamie Ryan from Simply Sensible Designs & Events , as I know she will do an incredible job planning their day!
Their Logansport Fall engagement session was so much fun and we laughed so much from the wine incident. There is a cute wine engagement photo floating around the internet right now, so we thought we’d try it! It didn’t go as planned as you can see, although it was hilarious! They also brought the cutest little signs with their wedding hashtag, #ItMossBeLove, and their save the date props. But seriously, how cute is their hashtag!?
Ali & Corey, I’m so excited to be capturing another new chapter in your lives and I’m so happy for you both on your engagement and upcoming wedding! I’ve loved watching your love for each other grow and cannot wait for your wedding next September!!!
