Two days before their engagement session I was scouting locations to use and an idea popped in my head. I quickly found an example image and sent Sara a text. I texted her a photo of a couple in a waterfall and said, ” I know you might think I’m crazy, but would you and Cameron consider doing this?” To my surprise, they were all for it! I was so excited for their waterfall engagement session but did feel slightly bad as the day before their session was the high 80’s and then their session day it was low 70’s so the water was a bit more chilly… They were such troopers though!!!
Throughout their session, they both were so giggly, silly and you could tell they just genuinely loved being around each other. It reminded me of high school, flirty love, but I could also see genuine love brewing deep, the kind that helps and watches out for each other. Spoiler alert, the waterfall was a bit cold so we didn’t go too deep, but instead ended their session walking on the beach and swimming in the lake underneath the moon. How perfect, right?
Sara and Cameron, I’m so happy you had such a fun time at your waterfall engagement session and I’m absolutely thrilled to be documenting your wedding this coming February at The Legacy Barn! I know it will be gorgeous!!!
