Every year during the Cass County Fair I have a giveaway for a free 4H fair session. I’ve always loved the county fair and the past 2 years I’ve challenged myself to capture portraits that are unique and fun.
Miah had entered to win a free session, and although she didn’t win, I reached out to her to learn more about her years involved in the 4H fair. I discovered this year, 2019, was her 10th and final year showing cattle, hogs and sheep. After chatting briefly and falling in love with her bubbly, passionate and fun personality, she ended up booking a senior session.
One thing that stood out the most to me about Miah was that she was adamant on having photos with her family during her fair session. She said that 4H had been a huge part of her families lives the past 10 years and she wanted to be able to have a photo of her family in her dorm room when she attends Purdue in the fall. I thought this was so incredibly sweet and really showed how selfless and caring of a person she is.
Miah, I cannot wait to see where life takes you and I’m so excited for this new chapter of your life you’re starting at Purdue in the Fall!
