Megan & Jacob’s wedding day was simply beautiful the whole day through! Starting and ending at the gorgeous Union 12 wedding venue in Fort Wayne, IN. The modern farmhouse decor, tons of natural light, and plenty of property made it the perfect venue for this couple’s big day. Megan and the lovely bridesmaids even shared a special moment while getting ready as they presented Megan a handmade album with pictures and letters from each of the bridesmaids. You could see how grateful she was to have such sweet and thoughtful friends.
Jacob also had something special, the phrase “Carpe Diem” was sewn to the inside of his jacket and when I asked him why he said it was something his father always said and it meant a great deal to him to always “seize the day and make the most of it”.
The lovely couple decided to have their ceremony at the Allen County Courthouse in Downtown Fort Wayne. It was a gorgeous building inside and out and made for a great spot for portraits. After visiting a few spots in downtown Fort Wayne, we made our way back to Union 12 to finish up portraits and to get the party started! Inside the reception area were gorgeous white tables with stunning florals, and a clean and bright atmosphere I honestly swooned over.
The rest of the evening was a blur of laughter, tears and some beautiful moments of a newlywed couple. For their send-off, they chose to do a sparkler exit and it was stunning with the strung overhead lights!
Congrats Megan and Jacob!
